Roverway, a joint European WAGGGS and WOSM event for 16-22 year old Rover Scouts and Rangers from all over the world. Roverway 2012 takes place in Finland 20.–28.7.2012.

 

Camp Programme

The four days following the paths of Roverway at the Evo Camp site are full-packed with activities. There will be five program valleys including the Rover Momentum Valley. You'll be inspired by fresh water and lakes, vast forests, technology and arts. In the evenings you can feel the calling of camp fires, live music and cafes. Make friends, enjoy the empowering atmosphere and take part to the International Festival Day which takes you into the middle of European community at its best.

Loverway Midsummer Festival

Love is in the air! On Thursday July 26th different people and different cultures will face each other on Loverway Midsummer Festival. Everyone at Roverway will become part of the pink whirl. The camp will turn into multicultural market place full of programs, food and shows of different countries.

Along the way, we will send messages of love and peace to the outside world. After the adventure, the market and BBQ dinner the Festival Day will culminate in a common spectacle. The Finnish midnight sun, your best friends, Loverway-dance, sparkle, clatter… Then you will see!

The participating countries will present their own cultures during the Festival Day. In the afternoon we´ll have a cultural festival where participants enjoy the program organised by different contingents. There are three different ways to participate for the contingents:

1. Prepare a show (5-10 minutes) at the stage

2. Organise interactive program

3. Offer typical food of your country

This is the place to share your cultural traditions or to present the everyday life of young people in your country!
